Communication planning in “newsroom” is based on the following essential elements:
- “Topics”: Any number and name.
- “Campaigns”: Are assigned to topics. Any number and designation.
- “Activities“: Are associated with campaigns. Any number and designation.
- “Activity” types: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer (e.g. speech, press release, Twitter, Facebook, intranet, Internet, newsletter, etc.)
- “Campaign” sets: Any number and designation. Are created and defined individually for each “newsroom” customer. Include sets of activity types, e.g. for publishing quarterly figures, product launches, employee campaigns, etc.
- “Events” (Dates/Appointments): Assigned to individual “Events” or dates or campaigns. Any number and designation.
- “Event” types: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer, e.g. conferences, trade fairs, employee meetings, annual general meeting, etc.
- “Event” Sets: Any number and designation. Are created and defined individually for each “newsroom” customer. Include sets of event types, e.g. for trade fairs, roadshows, publication of quarterly figures, product launches, internal events, etc.
- Tags: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer, e.g. attractive employer, finances, growth, employees, CEO, culture, values, innovation, brand, research, etc.
- “Owner”: An “Owner” is responsible for “Topics”, “Campaign” and/or „Activities“ . Any number of “Co-Owners” can be selected.
- Units: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer, e.g. corporate communications, division/BU communication, departments with communication tasks such as employer branding, investor relations, brand communication, etc.
- Markets: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer.
- Target groups: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer.
- Teams: Any number and designation. Are created individually for each “newsroom” customer.
